I hope you've all been having a great week. The weather in Georgia seems to be a bit of a drag these past few days, but I see the sun is trying to making a come back right now as I type this!

I've been deep in thought for the past month or so about my personal and professional  goals and it has become quite apparent that what really gets me out of the bed in the morning is when I'm working on a product that really touches my soul.

You know that feeling when you reach for your favorite coffee cup...every time you look at it it makes you smile because there's a funny illustration on it or perhaps an encouraging word is engraved in it!

That's my intention with all the products designed and created at The Hummingbird Mill. My sincerest hope is that the products you purchase from the Mill add value and joy to your life!

With that being said, I am excitedly creating a new collection of pieces (jewelry, books, cards, wall art, ect...) that inspire you to your greatest potential, make you giggle, awaken your soul, and bring a smile to your face. I look forward to sharing it with you all!

Speaking of sharing, I will be sharing my experiences and design process along with an interactive activity for the little ones  at the Barnes and Noble Mini Makers Faire in Edgewood (Atlanta) Saturday November 7 at 7pm and Sunday November 8th at 5pm.

I was so blessed to be asked by Mr. Chuck Barfield to attend this upcoming event after participating in the Atlanta Makers Faire (Oct. 3-4). So if you are in the area, stop by! There will be a lot of other fantastic speakers!

I would like to leave you with a quote by one of my favorite spiritual leaders. May it bring you peace and joy for the day!

Blessings to you all!

Sincerely,

Mandisa
