About This Artwork: Capturing the southern yet very eclectic feel of Athens, Georgia (located on the corner of Clayton St. and Lumpkin St.) this vantage point holds a special place in the hearts of many Athenians and UGA students. The bustling and lively street corner is home to Horton’s Drug Store (a local favorite) and the beloved/ historic Georgia Theater.

Process: Printed with (soy-based) Akua Intaglio black ink, this permanent non-toxic material is environmentally safe and creates a striking black finish.

The hand carved block is pressed and printed on 13" x 16" (gelatin-free) Somerset Legion Hot Press Watercolor Paper. This acid free paper is recyclable, mold-resistant and made of 100% cotton making it both strong and slightly textured to the touch.
