About The Artwork: Capturing the calming yet magnanimous stature of Mount Elbert, this summit is the highest of the Rocky Mountains of North America and the highest point in Colorado. The rolling grass filled with speckles of lime green flora and dark evergreens in the distance make for a tranquil landscape.

Process: Printed with (soy-based) Akua Intaglio inks, this permanent non-toxic material is environmentally safe creating lasting vibrant colors.

The hand carved block is pressed and printed on 13" x 16" (gelatin-free) Somerset Legion Hot Press Watercolor Paper. This acid free paper is recyclable, mold-resistant and made of 100% cotton making it both strong and slightly textured to the touch.
